Ubricoin: UBRICA creates a blockchain to be the fundamental answer to global health. Ubricoin is a cryptocurrency built on Etherium blockchain. Ubricoin a peer-to-peer Internet currency that will enable payment to anyone in the world to facilitate global health. We will use the coin to support, design development and implementation of Ubrica project. Ubrica project involves building capability for high quality life-science and health-production (LSHP) in Africa. The physical project is housed in Kenya. The project will create in Kenya a node for a highly advance biomedical research and development and highest quality health care services. The project will ensure sufficient funding for discovery of solutions to most vexing health problems in the world emerging from the African continent.
Bitcoin:is a cryptocurrency, a form of electronic cash. It is the first decentralized digital currency: the system was designed to work without a central bank or single administrator.
Many economists and investors consider the bitcoin market to be a bubble. Bitcoin has also been criticized for its use in illegal transactions, its high electricity consumption, price volatility, and thefts from exchanges.
Bitcoins are sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network directly, without the need for intermediaries. These transactions are verified by network nodes through cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain. Bitcoin was invented by an unknown person or group of people using the name Satoshi Nakamoto and released as open-source software in 2009.
Bitcoins are created as a reward for a process known as mining. They can be exchanged for other currencies, products, and services. Research produced by the University of Cambridge estimates that in 2017, there were 2.9 to 5.8 million unique users using a cryptocurrency wallet, most of them using bitcoin.
Ubricoin on blockchain will serve as a platform devoted to improving quality of health for all. We will use Ubricoin to develop global health industry and create market intelligence through a cryptocurrency reward system that will inspire positive contribution to health improvement around the world. We will use a smart review system to reward consumers for positive health behavior.
We need Artificial intelligence for global health. Ubricoin will gather intelligent data about health, nutrition information and diseases. This data will help us develop smart community health decision support system, smart public health decision support system and smart clinical decision support systems. Ubricoin will generate artificial intelligence for early disease detection algorithm built on International Classification of Diseases (ICD), health and diseases monitoring, effect and impact evaluation of health programs, improved data security, accuracy and speed of diagnosis.
We will use Ubricoin to fund and create incentives for research, build world-class capacity for health and clinical research in developing countries and for research reporting through peer-to-peer reviewed papers by creating incentive token to the authors. This will lead to more people taking part in developing scientific papers. We will create incentives for research and new product development (R&D) with Brevis tokens for supporting development of scientific products. We will use Ubricoin to suport for manufacturing of biomedical products, and to facilitate commercialization of the products in the online marketing and retail platform called Soko Janja. Ubricoin will also support development and construction of scientific real estates in developing countries, including Ubrica Retail Clinical Centers (URCCs), Science and Technology Parks (STPs), a Biomedical Industrial City (BMIC).
Ubricoin will benefit you, the consumer of health and other services. Consumers will receive Brevis airdrops from shopping on Soko Janja. Providers of health accepting Ubricoin as payment at the point of sale will receive Brevises loyalty tokens, service quality tokens, direct feedback from consumers. Payers of health using Ubricoin for payment transaction will experience dramatic reduction in payment fraud. Suppliers of products and services to the health system will enjoy simplified payment system. Regulators of health services will create intelligent regulation based on real-time data. This will ensure good governance.
Initially UBRICA had a plan to offer shares to finance its projects
Shares are equity investment instrument that allow you to gain ownership of the
company. Ubricoin is a utility token that allows you ownership to the utility of the
organization. The two instruments serve different purposes in the organization
and so they are not mutually exclusive. Both instruments are synergistic. Ubricoin
supports the shares and the shares support the Ubricoin. The Ubrica shares shall
be listed in the market as planned.
Just like any human doctors are social beings. We all need other people for existence and survival. Societies and countries too depend on others for growth and development. People depend on each other for help, consolation, encouragement, support, etc. People who offer such support are friends, family and workmates. People experience many problems which they most often than not keep to themselves. This can cause stress and in serious cases depression. It is in such times that people require support from friends and loved ones to ease the strain.
KMA Membership Committee in Nairobi Division conducted a survey in June 2018 under Chairmanship of Dr. Macharia Waruingi of Ubrica, convener of membership committee, Media outreach committee and medical camps committee Nairobi division KMA. Preliminary results of the survey show various concerns raised by the doctors who participated. One of the concerns raised was that KMA should come up with ways of improving social welfare of doctors.
From the survey, doctors suggested that KMA needs to improve social welfare of its members. Doctors go through a lot of stressing issues from their patients, families, hospitals, etc. When going through this they need people to depend on and activities that involve less work. While in the hospital, doctors have to be strong for their patients. They listen to other people’s problems and give them hope. Doctors therefore also need people they can rely on in times of need.
This can be achieved by strengthening doctors organizations that will in turn bring cohesion among medics who are members. Welfare groups offer support to their members during conditions such as incapacitation, death, disease and unemployment. This could be affecting the member of the welfare group or a loved one. KMA is already giving this support to doctors in different ways e.g. KMA housing is helping with housing for doctors and KMA SACCO is helping with giving loans to doctors. However, majority of the doctors who took the survey felt there is still more that KMA can do. Their suggestions were:
- Negotiating with insurance companies to cover for doctors and their families to avoid scenarios where doctors get sick and they cannot afford the very services they offer.
- KMA to create events outside work. Starting a club where members and their families go for recreation or offer subsidized memberships to health clubs and golf clubs. Teambuilding is an example of such events. KMA can be organizing teambuilding activities for doctors every once in a while. Goat eating events where they meet, relax and enjoy each other’s company. During these kind of events and activities, people get a chance to bond, socialize and know each other better. Doctors can also come together and form welfare groups and be having meetings regularly.
- Social events that include family. Family outings, kids Christmas parties, group hikes at a subsidized rate and family get together activities
- Establish a desk/team that can be tasked with approaching members who may need coerced help from colleagues, issues of fervent unethical matters in practice that haven’t been taken to court, substance abuse, GBSV, mental disorders in a colleague, terminal illness-cancer, stroke etc.
- Encourage mentorship. Suicide rate among doctors worldwide on the rise.
- Develop a welfare kitty for help whenever there is need. For example have some benevolent funds for member’s family in death.

Caroline Muthoni Ndigirigi.
In Nairobi Kenya there is a long stretch of road called Ngong road. And here you will find the best beautiful furniture production in the world on the road side. These are some of the photos of furniture you will find there.
These traders are road side sellers, meaning they sell their goods at places where other people pass by.
There are several advantages to this, one can easily see the furniture as you drive or walk by hence easily access to the goods.
We also know we can never control nature, weather changes (e.g., storms) can be of great disadvantage to them, fire break-outs such as the one that occurred on Tuesday 29th May, 2018, 8:00 pm, where property worth millions of shillings was lost, and nothing salvaged. Thieves can also be a menace factor.
Currently, the Ngong road is also under-going expansion, which has greatly affected the traders causing them to move further from the road or away to other areas of the city.
In-order to avoid all these problems, the traders can sell their goods online through SOKO JANJA.
WHAT IS SOKO JANJA
Soko Janja is our online retail store. You can find it online through: http://shop.ubrica.com/
This retail store is created to market Kenyan products to the World. Most products are imported from other countries and given more value over our local products. Traders can post pictures of their products on Soko Janja. We help them market and sell their products once registered on the Soko.
Incentive for Shopping on Soko Janja
We have created a reward system to give incentives for shopping on Soko Janja. Consumers will receive Brevis airdrops from shopping on Soko Janja. Brevis airdrops are monetized loyalty points issuing from the point of sale on Soko Janja. Consumers can in turn use the loyalty points to shop for goods again.
We care about the traders and we wish to help them sell their products while also improving their living standard. That is why we want them also to join Co-operative Society of Ubricans.
