On the far side of Leleshwa Getaway Cryptofest event!

The weather was very inviting; it was a cool cloudy Tuesday morning. I was heading to Leleshwa Getaway with few friends. We had agreed to meet at Maasai Lodge stage, Kajiado County.

As we drove along the rough bumpy road, there was little traffic on the road, businesses were starting to open. We could see woven baskets, chairs displayed on the roads and gas cylinders which were also for sale. There was a lot of movement of people here and there.

On the way past African Nazarene University, one could observe the beautiful natural scenery of the forest with trees and shrubs, we even crossed over a little bridge that gave us quite a smooth ride.

We were closely approaching a small town known as Tuala. It was full of riders sitted on their motorbikes waiting to transport customers to their choice of destination. There were several businesses open like bars and restaurants, we could also see dogs roaming about or lazily lying on the sand deep asleep. One could not miss the several speed bumps that slowed our car as we approached the left turn to Leleshwa Getaway.

The view here was spectacular, we could breathe the fresh air that one could not find in the City Centre. There was farming going on in the nearby ‘shambas’, a farmer was busy watering his onions. Some large farms had a fence around it, but did not have any activity going on. As we drove on, we saw signs that we were approaching Kitengela Glass. Little did we know it was situated on the same route to Leleshwa Getaway.

Kitengela Glass, is an amazing Studio of its own kind. It has a beautiful, simplicity and country like view as you approach it.  Several glass and wood designs are beautifully displayed inside. I spent quite a good time looking and admiring different kinds of displayed work for it was my first visit here. It was breath taking!

Here are some of the photos that I took that can give you a closer look of the designs.

Sadly, I had to say goodbye to Kitengela Glasses and continue my journey to Leleshwa Getaway.

Upon arrival to Leleshwa Getaway, we were greeted with a cool breeze and a gorgeous view of the strong building structure that stood magnificently on its own with no other building nearby (see photo 1). It was peacefully quite, making it a perfect location to hold the Ubricoin Summit event this Month of September, Friday 21 and Saturday 22, 2018 at 8:00 am – 4:00 pm EAT. The prime reason that brought us here.

We were warmly received inside. We quickly started observing the surrounding area, to know where the guests coming for the training session Cryptofest event, shall be sitted as they learn how to acquire the Ubricoin.

Our cameras were ready to take photo shoots of the area, we recorded some video shoots inviting everyone to the Cryptofest event.  There was a balcony area up the stairs, with nice beautiful chairs that the guests could sit on during the event while viewing the Nairobi National park and the City Centre.  There was a beautiful garden area as well, with two tortoise moving slowly on the ground, an ideal location for the guests to sit buying the Ubricoin, while enjoying the great view.

I cannot miss to mention my experience at the cliff. It was a sight to hold forever! The cottages known as the ‘bush house’ are decorated with African art furniture, with flushing toilet and hot showers inside. The ‘bush house’ are rightly situated next to the cliff. From the top of the cliff, one could observe the animals from the Nairobi National park moving about in the dense forest while getting a magnificent view of the acacia trees and the flowing Mbagathi river. It’s no wonder it’s a favorite Getaway for most Kenyan families and tourists. One close encounter with nature and perfect location to hold a picnic while learning how to buy Ubricoin. Also a perfect place for spending the night with your Ubricoin in your wallet.

We were quite hungry by now; everyone was looking forward to lunch. Of course, we had an idea where to sit and have our meal, we chose the balcony view for this is where the magic was, eating while viewing the Nairobi national park. We had several options to pick from the menu, the chicken, ‘nyama choma’, pork, fish or vegetables. And as we shared the day’s events with one another, our meals arrived. I had roasted ‘nyama choma’ with baked potatoes, served over a heaping pile of flavorful rice. The serving size is huge and could easily be shared between two people. I was so full I didn’t plan on eating dessert but I was so glad I did! It had a beautiful flavor and texture! We absolutely loved this experience and will shall go back!

As we left Leleshwa Getaway, engrossed in deep thoughts thinking what an awesome experience we all had, it was definitely the right place to hold the Cryptofest event and a day to remember for a very long time.

If you want to power back mentally and physically, just take that weekend off and go somewhere relaxing! Just remember, going on holiday can keep the doctor away.
